Product Review: Nebo Edge Flashlight

If you’re a rider that enjoys over night excursions or are just diligent about preparing for worst case scenarios, you’ll want to include a flashlight in your tool kit. The Nebo Edge is a compact light weight flashlight that offers some great features at a very reasonable price.
Made from anodized aircraft grade aluminum, it provides 50 lumens of light from one powerful LED. This kind of output won’t be enough to signal passing 747s but its sufficient to fix something in the dark or possibly spot-light for small deer.
What’s great about this flashlight is its size (under 4 inches long, 3/4 of an inch in diameter) and the fact that it’s powered by a single AA battery. This means the Edge takes up minimal space, even when packing an additional battery.
Another practical feature is the steel clip, which allows for quick attachment to your helmet or hat’s visor for hands free wrenching, cooking, or gutting of poached animals.
While I’m on the topic of gutting things, the Edge also has a sharp hooded ‘self defense’ face around the lens – perfect for scraping dead flesh off an animal hide, carving a jack-o-lantern, or slashing tires on quads.
Priced under ten dollars, there’s no reason to be left in the dark out on the trails!
